The Addams Family (1964-1966)
9/10
Quite comedic. It holds up surprisingly well for something of its time. I'll admit, I kinda have a soft spot for old shows.
The Addams Family (animated 1973)
5/10
Just eh. TBH most animated shows from the 1970s were pretty boring.
Halloween with the New Addams Family (1977)
6/10
Too strange for my liking. No wonder it was forgotten.
The Addams Family (1991)
8/10
Weirdly funny. Holds up surprisingly well.
The Addams Family (animated 1992)
5/10
Same issues as the old one.
The Addams Family Values (1993)
7/10
Not as good as the first one, but still pretty decent.
Addams Family Reunion (1998)
7/10
It's fine. It kinda happened for no reason though. It's also direct-to-video so...
The New Addams Family (1998-1999)
7/10
It's okay. The old one was better.
The Addams Family (2019)
4/10
Boring! Lazy! Cash grab!
The Addams Family 2 (2021)
3/10
(groans intensely)
Wednesday (2022-present)
69/10
You guys know why.
In the cartoon version of the Adams family
Why is wednesday's hair braided into a noose?
Vincent Thorpe should be portrayed by an actor who was on broadway.
The central relationship of the show isn’t romance, it’s friendship.
I don’t think Xavier is an only child, he either has three sisters who are basically Icy, Darcy and Stormy, one sister who is a rising pop diva or a sister who is basically Azula.
Since Wednesday did a viral dance number in Season 1, it would make sense if another character would do a viral song number.
What do you think?
The subject line says it all...
At this point in time (February, 2024) IMDB lists the following actors/character returning for season 2, episode 1:
Jenna Ortega Wednesday
Emma Myers Enid
Hunter Doohan Tyler
Victor Dorobantu Thing
Georgie Farmer Ajax
Christina Ricci Mis Thrornhill
Joy Sunday Bianca
Percy Hynes White Xavier
Notably missing from this list are Sheriff Galpin and other members of the Addams family.
Both were harassed in school and were see as weird by peoples

One of my favorite things about Wednesday, is how some of the character names fit their character archetypes.
Like for Example:
Bianca = The Queen Bee
Eugene = The Nerd
Xavier = The Rich Kid
Tyler = The Boy Next Door
Since Wednesday is 15 turning 16 in the first season, it would mean that she is in her Sophomore year at Nevermore. That would mean that all the other characters who go to Nevermore (Enid, Bianca, Xavier etc) would have been born between September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007. I’m stating these dates because August 31 is the school cut off date in Vermont.
Enid x tyler (trope?: friends to lovers)
Xavier x Wednesday (trope: enimes to lovers)
Enid x Wednesday (frenimes to lovers)
Bianca x Enid (don’t question it was requested on my wattpad) (idk yet on trope)
Bianca x Wednesday (also requested) (idk yet on trope)
Tyler x Xavier (friends to lovers)
So I made two timelines on the first season of Wednesday since I know that some of you are still conflicted on certain dates and periods. So I thought I’ll let you decide for yourselves
KARLOFF- Athletic teenage male character. (Karloff could be a reference to the actor Boris Karloff, who played Frankenstein and various other monsters in a long career).
WOLFGANG - "charming and confident" teenage male character, apparently also a werewolf (The Addams family, in the 1990's animated version, had an "Uncle Wolfgang - is he related?)
ANNIE - Younger girl (age 12-14) very smart and wise beyond her years.
Rumors persist that Xavier is being written out of the plot for season 2....

Now, after learning the news about the filming place for the next season I'd like to share what I think will happen, what characters we will and won't see in this season
Characters that we will problably see
-Tyler Galpin: It's possible he will go to San Francisco and reunite with Wednesday and Enid (only if we see Wednesday spending her vacations with Enid).
-Donovan Galpin: I believe it's quite possible the sheriff will be one of the protagonists of season 2. Reason? His son. We all saw how Tyler was transforming while he was being taken to prison, so I guess he will escape and Donovan will be tracking his son and in the meantime he will have a character development, he needs it after everything of season 1. Maybe his storyline will take him to San Francisco where I strongly believe will be Wednesday with Enid.
-Bianca Barclay: She is likely the character I hope to see more in this season. In episode 5 we learned more about her family and her story. Maybe in season 2 we will see her as one of the protagonists dealing with Morning Song and Gideon (who I also believe he's the misterious stalker of Wednesday at the end of season 1)
-Cousin Itt: I'd love to see Cousin Itt during this season. Maybe he comes by to visit Wednesday on her vacations and later helps her with the issue of Tyler and makes and alliance with Donovan to track Tyler.
Characters we won't be seeing likely
-Xavier Thorpe: Honestly, I don't think we will see Xavier on this season. Mainly because he has nothing to do anymore in the story, only serving as Wednesday's love interest, but given that Jenna Ortega is now the producer it's highly possible she won't include Xavier for the next season.
-Eugene Ottinger: Same with Xavier, Eugene has no longer anything to do for the next season. He was only Wednesday's ally durint her investigation of the crimes near Nevermore. So I'm almost certain we won't see him next season.
-Marilyn Thornill: It's quite possible, but not 100 percent, that Marilyn won't be seen during next season. We don't know what happened to her after Wednesday kicked her with her foot. We don't know if she is dead, imprisoned or if Wednesday locked her in the secret library used by the Nightshades. I can only imagine she will be released thanks to Tyler, but I'm not entirely sure.
Tell me your thoughts about it.
Pd: I didn't include Wednesday, Enid, Thing, Lurch or Gomez & Morticia because it's a fact we will see all of them next season (Enid due to her popularity among the fans of the show, Thing because he's Wednesday's closest and most reliable ally, and Lurch alongside Gomez and Morticia because we will see at least one or two episodes seeing them I'm sure).
In episode 6, the mayor's assistant hands him an envelope from London. We have been previously told that Laurel Gates went over seas, and drowned, so it is not a surprise when he opens the envelope and finds a death certificate for Laurel Gates.
What is a surprise is that if you freeze-frame the death certificate, it clearly says "STATE OF WASHINGTON" across the top.....
There really was a Pilgrim family named Crackstone. John, a widower, aged about 45, arrived with his son John Jr. (age about 17) on the Mayflower.
John Sr. did not make it though the first winter, when about half the Pilgrims died. His son died about 7 years after they arrived (about 1627) after getting lost in the woods, and developing frostbitten feet, which killed him.
Neither left any descendants in the New World.
John Sr. had an older daughter named Anne who got married in 1618. She and her husband were not on the Mayflower, and did not (as far as is known) ever come to the New World.
