Gomez takes out a life insurance policy for one million dollars naming Morticia as the sole beneficiary. He accidentally hits himself in the head while exercising with old Indian clubs he got from an old Indian and gets amnesia. He reacts to the house and the family the way a "normal" person would. Wednesday shows off Lucifer, her pet anole, and Pugsley shows him a Trainwreck, but neither spark his memory. Uncle Fester suggests a good workout in the play room. After an encounter with Cleopatra, he is convinced everyone is trying to kill him to collect the insurance. Morticia consults Grandpa Squint's old medical book which says a second blow to the head might cure him.
