Maxwell Briggs is the wary postman who tries not to get to near to the The Addams Family Mansion.
Biography[]
When the truant officer Sam Hilliard visits the Addams Family, Mr. Briggs wishes him luck on his way inside.[1] Agent Hollister recruited him to spy on The Addams Family, but Thing and Kitty Kat quickly frightened him away.[2]
He disappeared from his route at The Addams Family Mansion, and was found there, tangled up in vines by another postal carrier thirty years later. Realizing that by this time he had earned his retirement, a relieved Briggs delivered his 30 year old mail to Lurch, while his younger colleague got wrapped up in the same dangerous vines that had kept Briggs immobile for three decades.[3]
